The BAC O’Connor Centre is now Cited as Best Practice for Rehabilitation and has received the following awards for the efforts and outstanding contribution to changing the lives of individuals:

- Home Office Award – In 2006 Noreen Oliver was awarded the West Midland Individual category for outstanding contribution to Tackling Drugs Changing Lives

- Daily Mirror Peoples Award – In 2006 Noreen Oliver was awarded the People’s Award 2006 Justice Award

- In 2008 The BAC O’Connor Centres received a Healthcare Commission Score of Excellent scoring the highest marks in the Country

- In 2008 Noreen Oliver was awarded an MBE for her outstanding work to Drugs and Alcohol Services

To facilitate this process the Centres employ a multi-skilled team consisting of Addiction Therapists, Therapists, Psychologist, Registered Mental Health Nurses, Registered General Nurses, a Family Therapist, a Complementary Therapist, Health and Nutrition Specialist, Physical Education Instructor, Community Development Officers, Resettlement Workers, Support Workers as well as a pool of volunteers and peer supporters.

Because BAC O’Connor Centres employ many staff who have personal experience of addiction clients are able to feel that they are in an understanding environment.
